6   And it shall come to pass in that day, that the light shall not be clear, nor dark:   7   But it shall be one day which shall be known to the LORD, not day, nor night: but it shall come to pass, that at evening time it shall be light. ~ ZECHARIAH 14:6-7

    ***

Bro Branham said “this day this scripture is fulfilled”. Think about this. It is not only referring to the light at the evening time, but the day in which that light exists. It is a day “known to the Lord”. Other versions use the phrase “known ONLY to the Lord”. The day we live in, in the which the light is so bright, is a day like no other, a unique day, where it is neither day nor night. It takes a “God perspective” to truly know the day in which we live. It takes a “God perspective” to see the things that are freely given to us. It takes eating the eternal Book of Redemption and benefiting from the fullness of the work He has done for us, to come to this God perspective, where we are truly new creatures in Christ.

12   Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.    13   Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,   14   I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. ~ PHILIPPIANS 3:12-14

    ***

There is a real key in verse 12. Paul is associating perfection with “apprehending” as he was apprehended of Christ. The word “apprehend” is to perceive or understand, meaning that you have a revelation of Christ’s thought of yourself. It is a faith perfection. Perfection must begin on the inside by a realization of the life of Christ in us. Then the outside reflects what is on the inside. The outward manifestation would be Christ and not your old man. Perfection is totally out of your hands and comes ONLY by the life of Christ in you.

13   Then said Haggai, If one that is unclean by a dead body touch any of these, shall it be unclean? And the priests answered and said, It shall be unclean.   14   Then answered Haggai, and said, So is this people, and so is this nation before me, saith the LORD; and so is every work of their hands; and that which they offer there is unclean. ~ HAGGAI 2:13-14

    ***

The book of Haggai was written when the Children of Israel had come back from Babylonian captivity. They had been freed to return to their land and rebuild the Temple. Haggai’s message in  chapter 1 had encouraged them to leave off of their own work and focus on the building of the House of God. In this chapter Haggai is talking to the priests about these certain requirements of the law, that when a person had touched a dead body, everything they touched was also unclean. They agreed. But Haggai’s point was that as long as the people themselves were unclean, then the Temple they were building would also be unclean. Think about this accusation. In this day we are part of the rebuilding of the Temple of God, the Bride. How can our work be clean as long as we have a Laodicean perspective? We must be cleansed ourselves, by faith, with the washing of water by the Word before we can be called to the work of the Temple. ONLY the life of Christ Himself is clean.

15   But even unto this day, when Moses is read, the vail is upon their heart.   16   Nevertheless when it shall turn to the Lord, the vail shall be taken away.  17   Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.    18   But we all, with open face beholding as in a glass the glory of the Lord, are changed into the same image from glory to glory, even as by the Spirit of the Lord. ~ II CORINTHIANS 3:15-18

    ***

There is a goal in our change. It is a process. The veil of our flesh is being removed and there is liberty, freedom, where the Spirit of the Lord takes over. The turning of our hearts to the Lord (vs 16) is what the change is. The battle is the allowing of this change to take place. The mechanics is our willingness to be changed, submitting ourselves to whatever His Will is for our life. It is an inside change that must happen first. The outside change, the part people see, is the result of the inside change. It is no longer you, it’s Him.

1   After this I looked, and, behold, a door was opened in heaven: and the first voice which I heard was as it were of a trumpet talking with me; which said, Come up hither, and I will shew thee things which must be hereafter.     2   And immediately I was in the spirit: and, behold, a throne was set in heaven, and one sat on the throne. ~ REVELATION 4:1-2

    ***

There is no question in my heart that this is the rapture, or at least the process of the rapture. John was caught up to see things that must be hereafter. Bro Branham was going to come out and preach the Seals the way he did many years before, but the Holy Spirit came and gave him a different perspective. You could say the “channel of inspiration” came and showed him the truth. “Just turn the picture from this, the way they had it; this a way, the way it's supposed to be.” (Rising of the Sun) You can see intellectually what is under the Seals. You can see the doctrine and even understand ALL mysteries (I Cor 13:2), but it takes a catching up to catch the truth of it. It takes the dynamics on the mechanics to be able to “unfold yourself and live among it”, but when you do, you will NEVER be the same person you were.

And Job was this prophet in this day. Now, only thing God had done to Job: What always give him wisdom and His Word and inspiration, he could get no inspiration. But he knowed all of his mechanics (he had offered the burnt-offering, he had done everything he knowed to do was right), but he couldn't get a word from God. But the Devil couldn't move him! There you are. Now, there you are when you're prayed for. You don't have to run back through a line, or go let somebody else pray for you. When you know you've done exactly what God told you to do, see, then wait for that channel of inspiration to open up to you, and, "Now I'm healed!" When it drops in there, then it's all over. Oh, you don't need no prayer lines, nothing else, it's over! It's been revealed to you! ~ 65-1127E  I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE

    ***

The only thing we can do is get our mechanics ready. Mechanics is not doctrine, but it is a letting go of your own thinking, desires and ambitions. When you’ve done everything just wait. I like how he said you don’t have to go through the prayer line again. It’s not like something didn’t work and you need to try again. Just wait. Then, God drops that channel of inspiration and you KNOW it’s over.

And it won't work, no selfish thing will work. Your motives and objectives has to be exactly, perfectly right, then you have faith, to ask. "If our hearts condemn us not, then we have confidence." See? See, we've got to have confidence. "I want this to the honor and glory of God." Then faith has a--a channel to move into; if it doesn't, then you got mental, intellectual faith, and not genuine faith from God. That intellectual faith will get you nowhere. Might get you emotional, but it won't get you the healing that you're looking for. ~ 65-1127E  I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE

    ***

I’m not sure that trying to examine and manage your motives is what Bro Branham is saying. We can try, but often the motive is deep down in our heart. To have a true motive and objective is to have the Spirit of Christ controlling your heart. Then, faith has a channel because the whole thing is Him in you. Eternal life is living for others.

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. ~ PSALM 40:5

    ***

The word “wonderful” has an interesting meaning. From the Bible dictionary it means “to be extraordinary; be surpassing; be difficult to understand”. But it has a deeper meaning than this. “Wonderful works” has to do with a speaking with authority. It’s related words are often translated as “judge” or “judgement”, which indicates a final authority in the speaking. When Job says he uttered “things too wonderful for me” (Job 42:3), he is saying that the words God put in his mouth were of much greater value than he realized. He never realized the true value of what he had until he met the Lord face to face in the Whirlwind (sounds like the Dynamics). The actual Presence of God has an eternal effect.

1   Then Job answered the LORD, and said,   2   I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.   3   Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. ~ JOB 42:1-3

    ***

This has long been a very powerful scripture to me. Job knew God. He was a prophet. He could talk about the Lord and thought he knew all about Him. But once God revealed Himself to Job out of the Whirlwind, everything was different. He realized that his former relationship was nothing compared to what was available to him. God took him on an Enoch walk and showed him the intimate things of God. He then realized that he had never really had all that he thought he had. He had “uttered that I understood not; THINGS TOO WONDERFUL FOR ME”. The Lord has so much He wants to show us. He wants to take us into Himself in a way that will make the former things pass away and unlock the potential that you were purposed to fulfill.

9   But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.   10   But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ~ I CORINTHIANS 2:9-10

    ***

Paul had gone beyond the curtain of time, hearing things that were not lawful to speak. He then speaks of the “abundance of revelations”, which I’m sure was a result of his journey. Have you ever wondered about our access to the things he saw and heard? Why was he privileged unless it was to sow the seed for us to also come to the same revelations by the Word we have heard and the Spirit that “searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God”. I don’t think we push in, but we press in (Luke 16:16) by a realization of the potential of the hour we live.
