And it won't work, no selfish thing will work. Your motives and objectives has to be exactly, perfectly right, then you have faith, to ask. "If our hearts condemn us not, then we have confidence." See? See, we've got to have confidence. "I want this to the honor and glory of God." Then faith has a--a channel to move into; if it doesn't, then you got mental, intellectual faith, and not genuine faith from God. That intellectual faith will get you nowhere. Might get you emotional, but it won't get you the healing that you're looking for. ~ 65-1127E  I HAVE HEARD BUT NOW I SEE

I’m not sure that trying to examine and manage your motives is what Bro Branham is saying. We can try, but often the motive is deep down in our heart. To have a true motive and objective is to have the Spirit of Christ controlling your heart. Then, faith has a channel because the whole thing is Him in you. Eternal life is living for others.

Many, O LORD my God, are thy wonderful works which thou hast done, and thy thoughts which are to us-ward: they cannot be reckoned up in order unto thee: if I would declare and speak of them, they are more than can be numbered. ~ PSALM 40:5

    ***

The word “wonderful” has an interesting meaning. From the Bible dictionary it means “to be extraordinary; be surpassing; be difficult to understand”. But it has a deeper meaning than this. “Wonderful works” has to do with a speaking with authority. It’s related words are often translated as “judge” or “judgement”, which indicates a final authority in the speaking. When Job says he uttered “things too wonderful for me” (Job 42:3), he is saying that the words God put in his mouth were of much greater value than he realized. He never realized the true value of what he had until he met the Lord face to face in the Whirlwind (sounds like the Dynamics). The actual Presence of God has an eternal effect.

1   Then Job answered the LORD, and said,   2   I know that thou canst do every thing, and that no thought can be withholden from thee.   3   Who is he that hideth counsel without knowledge? therefore have I uttered that I understood not; things too wonderful for me, which I knew not. ~ JOB 42:1-3

    ***

This has long been a very powerful scripture to me. Job knew God. He was a prophet. He could talk about the Lord and thought he knew all about Him. But once God revealed Himself to Job out of the Whirlwind, everything was different. He realized that his former relationship was nothing compared to what was available to him. God took him on an Enoch walk and showed him the intimate things of God. He then realized that he had never really had all that he thought he had. He had “uttered that I understood not; THINGS TOO WONDERFUL FOR ME”. The Lord has so much He wants to show us. He wants to take us into Himself in a way that will make the former things pass away and unlock the potential that you were purposed to fulfill.

9   But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him.   10   But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ~ I CORINTHIANS 2:9-10

    ***

Paul had gone beyond the curtain of time, hearing things that were not lawful to speak. He then speaks of the “abundance of revelations”, which I’m sure was a result of his journey. Have you ever wondered about our access to the things he saw and heard? Why was he privileged unless it was to sow the seed for us to also come to the same revelations by the Word we have heard and the Spirit that “searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God”. I don’t think we push in, but we press in (Luke 16:16) by a realization of the potential of the hour we live.

6   Wherefore say unto the children of Israel, I am the LORD, and I will bring you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians, and I will rid you out of their bondage, and I will redeem you with a stretched out arm, and with great judgments:   7   And I will take you to me for a people, and I will be to you a God: and ye shall know that I am the LORD your God, which bringeth you out from under the burdens of the Egyptians.   8   And I will bring you in unto the land, concerning the which I did swear to give it to Abraham, to Isaac, and to Jacob; and I will give it you for an heritage: I am the LORD.   9   And Moses spake so unto the children of Israel: but they hearkened not unto Moses for anguish of spirit, and for cruel bondage. ~ EXODUS 6:6-9

    ***

It is hard to put into words the sadness I feel when I read these verses. Everything that Israel had been crying for, knowing that they were God’s chosen people, and here was Moses, waving before them the answer to all that was in their hearts, and they couldn’t receive it. They had become so accustomed to their circumstances that they could not receive the deliverance. But the wonderful thing is, they DID get delivered. God brought them out in spite of their reluctance to believe and God WILL have a Bride who will walk into the fullness of time in this hour.

5   Now the end of the commandment is charity out of a pure heart, and of a good conscience, and of faith unfeigned:    6   From which some having swerved have turned aside unto vain jangling;    7  Desiring to be teachers of the law; understanding neither what they say, nor whereof they affirm. ~ I TIMOTHY 1:5-7

    ***

The word “commandment” is the Greek word “paraggelia”. It means an announcement from or of an angel/messenger. Verse 5 is saying, “At the end of the announcement by the angel there is Charity out of a pure heart”. This Message is to produce the Person of Christ on the earth again. The problem is that we are living in an age where people don’t want to change. They have become authorities on the Word and don’t even know what “they say, nor whereof they affirm”. While the whole thing is based on election, our outward manner of life is an indication of the inward work. If we never change then we have never changed.

Now, "make known unto us the mysteries of His will," the coming of... Let me read you something. I was reading over... Let's turn over now to "the mystery of His will." Let's turn to Hebrews here just a minute, the 7th chapter of Hebrews, I believe it is. I'd like to read you something that would just make you feel so good when we think that we're setting together in heavenly places: Hebrews the 7th chapter. For this Melchisedec… (Now, watch.)… King of Salem, priest of the most high God… ~ 60-0522E  ADOPTION 4

    ***

Bro Branham is quoting Eph 1:9-10, referring to the “mystery of His Will” as Melchisedec and His appearing to Abraham. The interesting thing is Eph 1:10 says the mystery of His Will is, “That in the dispensation of the fulness of times he might gather together in one all things in Christ, both which are in heaven, and which are on earth; even in him”. Is this a contradiction or is there a great truth displayed here. Jesus is called a Priest after the order of Melchisedec. What is the “order”? In this case it would be His nature, His character, doing the same thing that Melchisedec did, serving Communion (fellowship) to Abraham. Christ IN US, the hope of glory, makes Him the same thing in this many membered Bride, and the reason He gathers “together in ONE all things in Christ”.

I said, "The most perfect evidence I can think of is love." And so we got to talking on that. And then I thought that sounded pretty good so I just held that, "If a man has got love." But one day the Lord, in a vision, straightened me out. And He said, that, "The evidence of the Spirit was those who could receive the Word," neither love, nor speaking in tongues, but it's receiving the Word. ~ 64-0726E  BROKEN CISTERNS

    ***

In I Corinthians 13:2 it says, “And though I have the gift of prophecy, and understand all mysteries, and all knowledge; and though I have all faith, so that I could remove mountains, and have not charity, I am nothing.” It seems like a contradiction, but it’s not. A person can seem to be full of love, but it’s human love. Another person can know ALL mysteries, but THE mystery (Rev 10:7) that is revealed IS the Person of Christ in His Bride. Obviously, that person will have the love of Christ and know the mysteries, but they MANIFEST the Word of this hour. Receiving the Word is not understanding mysteries, but it is LIVING the mystery.

9   Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.   10   And the disciples came, and said unto him, Why speakest thou unto them in parables?   11   He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given. ~ MATTHEW 13:9-11

    ***

To the world, the whole Bible is a parable, a mystery. Although there are men who believe they know the scripture, it is only intellectual knowledge unless they are given revelation. Some of it might be right, but the reality of the parable is ONLY revealed to the elect. Many, even in this Message, have heard the voice of the prophet, but have they really heard the Voice of the Lord? What are the parables? Are they only the things that Jesus spoke or is the whole Bible a parable that takes revelation to see. Some will only see the parable and take it as the reality, thinking it is the mystery revealed, when the truth lays within, or under the thing that is spoken.

You're a time being until you're born again, then you're a Eternal being. And the only way you can get It is have part of God in you, being Eternal Life. Can you see it? Certainly. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches;... I love Him. Don’t you? I’m so glad to have Eternal Life. That doesn’t bother me anymore, because that we have Eternal Life now. And I know that, and I trust that everybody will have It, all of us. ~ 60-1206  THE SMYRNAEAN CHURCH AGE

    ***

Do we really know what it means to HAVE eternal life? It is not just living forever, but it is having the LIFE of God. We are just as subject to time as God is. We are just as bound to the world “kosmos”, the world order, as God is. Is God in control of everything? So are you. We are no longer time beings. The Angel of the Covenant, Christ, has purchased AND claimed YOU for Himself. He holds you in His hand and proclaims that “time is no longer”. You are NOW a King and Priest to God, after the order of Melchisedec, without beginning of days or ending of life.
