4   But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law,    5   To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons. ~ GALATIANS 4:4-5

    ***

I want us to think deeply about what adoption of Sons is. I feel like most believe it is coming into a supernatural talent to speak the Word, but it is really being translated by revelation into what you were originally intended to be. Think about what you would be had there never been a fall. Would you be a plumber or a policeman or an engineer? You would, as Bride, represent God among the human race that God created for fellowship. Whatever or however that is, is what adoption of Sons is. Christ redeemed you. He took you back from the place where you fell in order to restore you to His original objective for your existence. The tutorship has been to hone us for His purpose.

14   And if Christ be not risen, then is our preaching vain, and your faith is also vain.     15   Yea, and we are found false witnesses of God; because we have testified of God that he raised up Christ: whom he raised not up, if so be that the dead rise not.    16   For if the dead rise not, then is not Christ raised:    17   And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain; ye are yet in your sins. ~ I CORINTHIANS 15:14-17

    ***

“And if Christ be not raised, your faith is vain…” The resurrection of Christ PROVED His death accomplished its purpose, which was to remove the penalty of sin by paying it, AND to restore us back to our original condition IN the present Kingdom of God (Garden of Eden). If He didn’t raise our faith is vain. When Christ came out of the tomb, He was no longer a creature of time. Death had no more claim on Him because He is now in an eternal condition. He now walks in a dimension of God’s original Kingdom, and so do we since we are in HIM. Although we are walking in this dimension, our life comes from a different place. We are not of this world, but we are of His Kingdom. The revelation of this is “time no longer” (Rev 10). This eternal perspective is the rapture.

“To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I... overcome, and am set down with my Father in his throne. He that has an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches.”  Did you notice the--the 'rangements of that? See? "Set with Me in My throne," not "on My throne." "In My throne," that's in His domain. See? And now, as--as Christ is the Ruler, throne Ruler at this time, of the complete domain of God, so will the Church be with Him, the Bride be with Him, in His throne, in the entire domain. See? Not "on My throne," but "in My throne," see, where His domain reaches. A throne is over a domain, and--and a domain reaches just as far as its boundaries does. And this is from Eternity to Eternity. Just think of it! ~ 63-0825M  HOW CAN I OVERCOME

“Not ON My throne, but IN My throne.” This is really where we see dominion in the perfect way. Dominion is to “spread” like spreading a sheet. It is not a king sitting on a throne, but it is a king spreading himself out IN his kingdom. So is it with Christ. When the last enemy, death, is conquered, then intercession is done and God is all in all (I Cor 15:25-28). For intercession to be over YOU must come to this position.

17   Therefore doth my Father love me, because I lay down my life, that I might take it again.    18   No man taketh it from me, but I lay it down of myself. I have power to lay it down, and I have power to take it again. This commandment have I received of my Father. ~ JOHN 10:17-18

    ***

There have been many people through the history of the church that have raised from the dead, but they did not raise by themselves. Jesus is the ONLY One Who raised Himself from the dead. In Jesus’ Own death, death was conquered, and the Kingdom of God had been restored. Jesus proved His claim by raising Himself. The born-again experience in you IS your resurrection. It is your transformation into the present Kingdom of God, doing what you were always predestined to do and be. The Kingdom of God dwells inside the fleshly tabernacle and is only seen as YOU manifest it to others.

5   For they that are after the flesh do mind the things of the flesh; but they that are after the Spirit the things of the Spirit.     6   For to be carnally minded is death; but to be spiritually minded is life and peace.      7   Because the carnal mind is enmity against God: for it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.      8   So then they that are in the flesh cannot please God. ~ ROMANS 8:5-8

    ***

“For it is not subject to the law of God, neither indeed can be.” Here is the greatest battle ever fought. The word “subject” is the same word as its Hebrew counterpart “subdue” in Gen 1:28. According to Hebrews 2:8-9 we never saw man take this position, “But we see Jesus”. I Cor 15 tells us that “He (the office work of intercessor) must reign until the last enemy is destroyed, which is death. In Rev 10 we see Christ put one foot on land and one on sea, showing that ALL is subject to Him, fulfilling Gen 1:26-28 in our day by the Message of the hour and declaring victory in the greatest battle ever fought.

28   Wherefore we receiving a kingdom which cannot be moved, let us have grace, whereby we may serve God acceptably with reverence and godly fear:    29   For our God is a consuming fire. ~ HEBREWS 12:28-29

    ***

It is no doubt the Kingdom of God is come. Jesus, when He taught us to pray, said “Thy Kingdom come, Thy Will be done…” He IS the King of that Kingdom and rose from the dead to prove the sacrifice was effectual. What is the Kingdom? What Kingdom did God desire to set up on earth back in the garden? It was a Kingdom that He was King of that walked and fellowshipped with man. It was a Kingdom that He was the Chief Shepherd of, that He could take care of Adam and Eve and their offspring. It is THAT Kingdom that is here in the Person of Christ. We are the ambassadors of an eternal Kingdom, proving that sin has been destroyed like dropping the ink into the Clorox. THIS is what the Book of Hebrews is about, and if you’ll read it from this perspective you will see great things.

So I--I was hunting with the Indian, and I jumped off the horse. And there was some elk up on the mountain, and I started around the bend. The old Indian was about ten years older than me. He was just a puffing, coming behind me. I said, "Come on, chief. Come on!" Said, "Too fast! Too fast!" I thought, "Oh, well!" I said, "Come on, and start." He said, "It's too fast!" I slowed down, next gear. "Too fast!" I got down to a walk. "Too fast!" Oh, my! I said, "Chief, the elk is up there!" He said, "Him stay there. He were born there." I said, "I guess that's right." "He stay there, he were born there." He said, "Preacher hunt too fast, scare all the game away." Said, "Do like Indian. Walk'em once, look'em nine times." ~ 62-0513E  LETTING OFF THE PRESSURE

The universe is God’s glory and His first Bible. Some astronomers believe there are as many as one trillion galaxies. Since there are three million letters in our Bible that would mean that it took over 330,000 galaxies, which have an average of 100 billion stars each, to express ONE letter in our Bible. Why are we in a hurry when we read? We are missing so much life by rushing through. I like this story, because as we rush through the Word, trying to get more knowledge, more life, we must realize that there is so much life in one letter, one word, that we cannot exhaust it!

2   Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but of a ready mind;     3   Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being ensamples to the flock.    4   And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away. ~ I PETER 5:2-4

    ***

Hebrews 2:6-11 shows that the “dominion” promised to Adam was fulfilled in Christ AND His Sons. I love how Peter expresses this dominion. “Feed the flock”, be a shepherd to them. This is not just a pastor over his own church. This is the Bride and creation. We are to fulfill God’s original commission to Adam, which is to “dress and keep” the garden of God. The original Eden of long gone, or is it? Ezekiel 31:9 says that nations were the “trees of the garden of Eden”. Although I believe there was a literal place, I also believe the Lord is showing us a beautiful thing and the position we will fill being part of Christ.

For it became him, for whom are all things, and by whom are all things, in bringing many sons unto glory, to make the captain of their salvation perfect through sufferings. ~ HEBREWS 2:10

    ***

I want us to see how important the Bride is in the economy of God. “Bringing many sons unto glory” is restoring them back to God’s original purpose. Man, who was in the image of God and therefore a type of God, is given a commission, but he can’t carry it out by himself. He must have a “help meet”, one who is to be a reflection of him, flesh of his flesh, bone of his bone, having the same ministry he has. Adam’s purpose was to serve the garden of God, creation. “It became Him…” The purpose of Christ’s death was to bring this “many sons” to this position of reflecting His Will, not as servants, but as Sons. Sons are the continuation of the father, not only in likeness but in position. This is adoption. This is placing. This is the Message of the hour.

8   Thou hast put all things in subjection under his feet. For in that he put all in subjection under him, he left nothing that is not put under him. But now we see not yet all things put under him.     9   But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for every man. ~ HEBREWS 2:8-9

    ***

“But we see Jesus!” I just can’t get away from this verse. I have always loved this book of Hebrews, especially from the standpoint of leaving the principles of doctrine and “works causing death”, as the prophet worded it, and of going on to perfection, our position in a Melchisedec ministry of being Kings and Priests to creation. What I am seeing now is that Paul has set the tone for this position change in chapter 1, having identified Jesus, not only as the One Who brought redemption, but as the fulfillment of that redemption, and the One by Whom we can enter into that same position by allowing His life to fill our entire being. This IS an eternal perspective, the reality that our election has been groaning for. The ONLY way to enter is to see Jesus in YOU!
