10   And Abraham stretched forth his hand, and took the knife to slay his son.    11   And the angel of the LORD called unto him out of heaven, and said, Abraham, Abraham: and he said, Here am I.    12   And he said, Lay not thine hand upon the lad, neither do thou any thing unto him: for now I know that thou fearest God, seeing thou hast not withheld thy son, thine only son from me. ~ GENESIS 22:10-12

    ***

There are so many things in these few verses, but we will just address one today. God had asked Abraham to sacrifice his only son, removing any chance that the promise was to be fulfilled in the physical seed, which was Isaac. Whether you believe God would raise up the dead son or believe that God was emphasizing that the seed was not Isaac but was Christ, the result is the same. Abraham’s human reasoning had to be laid aside and he had to trust in God to bring forth His Word regardless of the circumstances. This is a type for the end time, however, most believe the Message was given for us to escape. The Message was given to enable God’s elect to bring forth the Word of promise in this hour, which is God manifested in the flesh.

16   Wherefore henceforth know we no man after the flesh: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more.     17   Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.     18   And all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Jesus Christ, and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation;     19   To wit, that God was in Christ, reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them; and hath committed unto us the word of reconciliation. ~ II CORINTHIANS 5:16-19

    ***

The word “reconcile” means to change or exchange. As a new creature (creation) in Christ, being of the same Seed as Christ, we have been given the ministry of “change”. Jesus said, “whatsoever thou shalt bind on earth shall be bound in heaven: and whatsoever thou shalt loose on earth shall be loosed in heaven” (Matt 16:19). This can ONLY happen by being IN THE LIFE OF CHRIST. Old things have passed away. There has been a total separation from the time realm as we have been born into eternity by the realization of our Sonship.

If I pray for five hundred people tonight and all five hundred died in the morning, tomorrow night I'd be praying for the sick again. That's right...?... thinks, that's what God's Word said. If I died tonight, and road... If five hundred people died tonight, in fifty years from now, they rose up in the resurrection and said, "Brother Branham, don't you believe Jesus Christ. It's wrong, it's wrong, it's wrong. You accept something else." I'd still say, "Let me die in Jesus. I believe Him. He's my heart; He's my life; He's all I got." And I believe every believer in Christ, that's been borned again has the same attitude towards Jesus Christ.  ~ 54-0620E  DIVINE HEALING

    ***

As human beings we are so moved and influenced by circumstances and evidences. Five hundred people rising from the dead, swearing that trusting in Jesus Christ is wrong, should not move us in the slightest. There must be something real on the inside, that says “yes” to the Word regardless of what is around us. We are asked to believe things that have NEVER happened before. We cannot point to anything as proof of the individual revelation of who we are. It is beyond the seen and into the unseen.

You show me a church that's humble, real humble, not a--a arrogancy; a church, just a sweet, humble church, I'll show you a church that has the favor and power of God in it. That's right. That's the thing it takes, humility, humbling ourselves before God, letting God just work through us. Don't have to make a lot of noise. ~ 63-0714E  HUMBLE THYSELF

    ***

Of course, God doesn’t deal with the church as a whole, but those who are in Christ are the ones that are the church. It is those that God is filling with His Own Spirit. It is those He is bringing to a position of humility and surrender, that will allow Him to work through them. It is those that He will speak through to restore creation, for as Branches of the Tree of Life, they have been given the ministry of reconciliation or change.

"Now, separate yourself from all the unbelief, and I will bring it to pass." And if you notice, He never brought it to pass till Abraham completely did what God bid him to do. Abraham wandered, and done everything else, but God never did bless him till he absolutely separated himself from all that He told him to do. And God will never bless you and bring it to pass until you're ready to separate yourself from everything contrary to God's Word, just separate yourself from it. ~ 59-0423  ABRAHAM'S SEED

    ***

God will never bless you until you totally separate yourself from sin. Abraham had to separate himself from the family God told him to leave, before God could take him on the mountain and show him his inheritance (Gen 13:14-17). It is not just an act of obedience but it is a change of perspective. The separation from our fleshly life comes when we recognize that our origin is the Life of God Himself. Bro Branham said, “But yet all at once I looked up, and I said, "I'm not the son of Charles and Ella Branham. There's Something calling." (65-1212 Communion)

7   And lest I should be exalted above measure through the abundance of the revelations, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, the messenger of Satan to buffet me, lest I should be exalted above measure.      8   For this thing I besought the Lord thrice, that it might depart from me.      9   And he said unto me, My grace is sufficient for thee: for my strength is made perfect in weakness. Most gladly therefore will I rather glory in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. ~ II CORINTHIANS 12:7-9

    ***

“Lest I should be exalted above measure…” Paul was chosen to write the scriptures that would unlock the position of the Bride, so it is fitting that he would face an exaltation that would come with the revelation of that position. He was given a messenger of Satan to “buffet” him. Buffeting is like waves striking the bow of a boat, knocking it off course. It was not the time for Paul to experience the reality of the Bride position, but we are living in the hour right now. What would happen if all of the things that “buffet” us, keeping us from being exalted, were removed? This is not an exaltation due to pride, but it is a recognition of being Kings and Priests of a spiritual Kingdom whose time has come.

4   And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.     5   And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.    6   And he believed in the LORD; and he counted it to him for righteousness...  19   For the earnest expectation of the creature waiteth for the manifestation of the sons of God. ~ GENESIS 15:4-6, ROMANS 8:19

    ***

Two, seemingly unrelated scriptures, are very much related. Abraham looked from the dust, the representation of his physical seed, to the stars that represented the multiplication of the Seed of Christ. It was the Melchisedec Communion that began to change Abraham’s vision. It was that Genesis 14 encounter that the prophet said caused Abraham to look for the City, the People, the Seed of Christ. What should a Melchisedec Communion do for us? Since we ARE the City, it would fulfill Heb 12:22-29.

1   What shall we say then that Abraham our father, as pertaining to the flesh, hath found?     2   For if Abraham were justified by works, he hath whereof to glory; but not before God.     3   For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness. ~ ROMANS 4:1-3

There are works of the law and there are works of faith, as described in the Book of James. The works that are after the law are an attempt to imitate the nature of God that are given in the form of commandments. It is similar to a man describing his own nature and people trying to follow what he does naturally. It is an obedience but it is not a change of nature. Works of faith are the result of that nature of God being born in you. You don’t need a commandment because you will do naturally what the nature had commanded to do by the law. It is no longer “touch not; taste not; handle not; Which all are to perish with the using” (Col 2:20-22), but it is Christ in you living His Own Life.

While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal. ~ II CORINTHIANS 4:18

    ***

Human beings are evidence driven. They always have to see, hear, feel, touch or smell, to believe in the truth of something. Abraham looked for a City, but I don’t think he was seeking a typical city of his day. He was looking to the unseen. He was promised a seed and we know that seed was Christ. He was also told to “Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them…So shall thy seed be” (Gen 15:5). A city is not a group of buildings. In Matt 8:34 the “whole city” came out to meet Jesus. It was people. Abraham was looking for his eternal seed.

"He hath made us!" Oh, there are certain truths we need to emphasize. This is one of them. HE! HE HATH MADE US! Salvation is His doing. Salvation is of the Lord. All of grace. He redeemed us for a purpose. He bought us for a purpose. We are kings, spiritual kings. Oh, we are going to be kings upon the earth with Him when He sits on His throne. But now we are spiritual kings and we reign over a spiritual kingdom. ~ THE REVELATION OF JESUS CHRIST  -  CHURCH AGE BOOK  PG 35

    ***

There are two dimensions: the physical dimension all around us, and the spiritual dimension, heavenly places, the eternal realm. We are, right now, kings of this spiritual dimension and every devil is subject to us. We have no fear of evil spirits, anymore than God does, with every spirit under the control of the Bride for the glory of God. As we move toward the purging of the earth, which we call the great tribulation, every demon will be purged, being bound by a great chain (Rev 20:1-2) for a thousand year reign on the earth.
